Sunday worship services at St. John’s provide an opportunity to give thanks and praise to God in an atmosphere of security, support and love. Ours is a community bound and identified by our liturgy and all worship is conducted in the Anglican tradition as outlined in the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. At St. John’s, we believe that through worship, we are united in acknowledging God’s holiness, hearing the word of God, offering prayer and celebrating His presence in our lives.
At our Sunday services, we celebrate God’s love for all through the sacrament of Holy Communion. Jesus shared this meal with his first disciples and is with us in this meal. Through Communion, we receive the forgiveness of our sins and a strengthening of our union with God and one another as we reflect upon Christ’s life, death and resurrection. All Baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Holy Communion in the Episcopal Church.
